What Cars To Drive In Isle Of Wight?

Last weekend we went on a trip to Isle Of Wight from West Midlands. It was about 12 of us and was undecided on which cars to take. At first we thought we will just take 3 of our normal cars, M3, R8 and C30 but then we realised we won’t be able to fit all the gear for our trip on these cars. We went online read few used car reviews on which car to take then we all decided one 4×4 should be good to fit our BBQ and camping gears.

We leased 3 ltr Nissan Navara and to be honest it didn’t cost as much as we thought it would the only problem we had was it did drank a lot of petrol. Though it is a tremendous 4×4 to drive. It has huge amount of room at the back to fit your luggages, BBQ equipments, camping equipments and we even took some woods as we wanted to put on fire along the beach and it was very relaxing driving this car especially when you are going for a long trip.

After the reasearch online we contacted out local used cars leasing company to hire the car. We wanted to hire it for few days and the quote we received was quite surprising to us as it was relevantly cheap. One of the plus point was definitely when we were on the way to Portsmouth to Isle of Wight from London we caught a horrible traffic in M25, I was driving the Nissan Audi R8. We had to catch 4:30 Ferry to Isle Of Wight from Portsmouth and when we hit M25 it wasn’t looking good but the Nissan navigation was just awesome found me a M3 to M27 route which also showed traffic. It was a brilliant navigation. If only me Volvo C30 had the same system. It’s not only the navigation of the Nissan to be honest, the drive was relaxing, great music system, beautiful performance and great speed.
